Hailed ‘one of today’s biggest Irish country artists’, Derek Ryan who first came to fame internationally with Irish boy band D-Side, achieving a number one in Japan, and several top 10 hits in Ireland & the UK releases his new single ‘Tender’ this Friday 10th March.

Since going it alone, Derek has topped the Irish charts, won a number of awards and played to sold out venues across the Ireland, the UK and Australia as well as recording 9 albums.

Last year’s ‘Songwriter of Year’, in the Irish Country Music Awards, spent time in Nashville last year and recorded and album of his own material with Grammy nominated Producer, Jeff Balding. The album also features some songwriting collaborations including one with Eleanor McEvoy on the title track ‘This is Me’. The album entered the Irish top 10 album chart on release.

Derek Ryan has since collaborated with Dublin born songwriter Eoin Glackin, who has recently been praised by Ed Sheeran and has supported greats like Joan Armatrading & Beth Orton, to create the toe-tapping, hand clapping record ‘Tender’ which is available now!

Derek kicks off his extensive UK tour next month, which includes dates at some of the top UK venues including the iconic Union Chapel in London, and St. George’s Hall in Liverpool. He also will perform on at Trafalgar Square for the annual St. Patrick’s Day celebrations later this month.
