Derek Ryan, who was named “Entertainer of the Year” by the Sunday World, has always been applauded for his breathtaking performances on his huge concert tour. After announcing his five date acoustic tour back in May, Derek is now set for the final show of a string of intimate shows up and down the country.
The ‘New King of Country’ has been selling out shows up and down the country, and alongside his band, never fails to put on an astounding performance. During the set of his current Concert Tour, Derek gives the band a break and, only left with his guitar, performs for the crowd, in a more intimate and personal way.
“The highlight of the concert tour for me, so far, has been the reaction from the audience to my acoustic set half way through the show. I get a chance to tell stories, to the audience about my influences and sing some of my own songs and some classics, just me and my guitar!”
Derek on his ‘Intimate Acoustic’ tour will be joined by only two band members, who will help set the mood at each gig. The trio will be appearing at and finishing off their acoustic tour for the year at Ballymoloe Grainstore, Co. Cork next Sunday 29th November.
