Set to travel nationwide across Ireland, fans have been eagerly waiting in hope for the country singer to announce his most anticipated concert tour yet.
Derek Ryan’s 2022 Irish concert tour will stop off at the Ulster Hall in Belfast, Millennium Forum, Derry plus the Cork and Wexford Opera Houses, and many more!
Derek also promises his new tour will feature music from his brand new album ‘Soft Ground’. “It’s all go now” says the singer, after a whirlwind 10 years in the country music scene. Derek Ryan celebrated the milestone by touring his biggest hits around Ireland and the UK. This included a sell-out headline performance in the SSE Arena in Belfast before lockdown struck.
“It’s been a quieter year for all of us in the country scene, and the music industry in general”, Derek said. “I’ve been on the road ever since I started out 10 years ago, releasing a new album every year on top of that. But the past year has not stopped me from writing new music and being in my own home studio has helped”. Derek, who writes all his own material and has previously won ‘Songwriter of the Year’, continued: “I can’t wait for my fans to hear these new songs and performing them live will be even better”.
However, fans will be delighted to hear Derek Ryan’s most popular chart-hits, will still be included on the set-list. Such as the self-penned ‘God’s Plan’ to arguably Derek’s biggest hit ‘Hold On To Your Hat’. All of which have made him one of Ireland’s best-selling country singer/songwriters.
