Derek Ryan has teamed up on his new, self penned, single with one of Ireland’s leading veterans of country; Roly Daniels.

‘Wrong Side of Sober’ is a story of two mates reminiscing, over a beer, on the good old days of their lives and is taken from Derek’s number one album, ‘One Good Night’, which was released last year.

Derek, a recipient of “Songwriter Of The Year” at the recent Sunday World Awards, will embark on a UK tour in April and will release a new album in the spring.

Roly, born in Jubbulpore, India, grew up in Dublin. He initially performed with the Memphis Showband, played with the Nevada Showband and had solo hits with ‘Hello Darling, ‘Funny Face’ and ‘Mr Jones’.  Daniels has also represented Ireland at country music’s DJ Convention in Nashville, which was attended by all the top country stars.  He was recently appointed Honorary Ambassador of Good Will to the state of Tennessee.
