May is just around the corner and Derek is due home from the first leg of his UK Tour, for a special May Bank Holiday Big Weekend Special!
The Carlow man is currently travelling around the UK, sharing his music with his loyal fans across the water, and his Irish fans have already been missing him whilst he’s been gone. Derek & the band will be making the journey home just in time for the May Day celebrations!
The singer/songwriter shows no signs of slowing down in his career, spending most of his free time from the tour working on his next album. Derek’s tour is in huge demand, after being named the “Entertainer of the Year” by Ireland’s top newspaper, the Sunday World. Each show includes a mix of old favourites, classic country and Derek’s own original material, so watch out for the award-winning country idol coming to a town near you!
This May Bank Holiday weekend, Derek will be celebrating in style, performing at not one, but two festivals! Derek will be appearing at Burren Festival, Co. Down on Friday 1st, Jamboree in the Park Festival, Fintona on Saturday 2nd and finishing up the weekend with a dance in the Termoneeny Centre, Lavey on Sunday!
